"I am deeply honored and grateful to the 2024 SPE Canadian Educational Foundation (SPECEF) Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee for awarding me the Keyera Corporate Partnered Scholarship. This support will be of great help as I work towards completing my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Calgary. This award will allow me to focus more deeply on my studies and extracurricular activities, allowing me to gain the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the energy transition. My vision is to play an active role in developing innovative, sustainable energy solutions, with a particular focus on advancemenets in carbon capture and utilization, hydrogen technology, and other emerging technologies in energy production. With my experience in downstream refining and well optimization, I've witnessed the importance of balancing energy demands with sustainability. This award enables me to build on those experiences, refine my technical expertise, and engage in initiatives that drive both environmental and economic progress. Once again, I express my sincere gratitude to SPECEF and Keyera for supporting my aspirations.
